The Troya Environment Association invites you to the international conference to be held for the establishment of Renewable Energy Cooperatives in our country and to generate electricity from local clean energy sources with the financial support of Çanakkale Governorate, Heinrich Böll Stiftung Association, Trojan Irrigation Association and Çanakkale Agricultural Cooperatives Union.

The General Directorate of Cooperatives of the Ministry of Customs and Trade provides technical support to the Renewable Energy Cooperatives conference.

Speakers will attend the conference with different experiences and institutions. Speakers will discuss conservation of energy and nature, energy, financial and social aspects in the transition from fossil resources and energy production to renewable energy generation. In addition, representatives of local energy cooperatives in Europe and Australia will tell us about their country, their experiences, the ways they have passed, and the problems they face. They will explain how they deal with financial and social problems and new creative and experiential examples they have found in this issue. In the second part of the conference, an open participatory forum will be organized for the establishment of an energy cooperative in Çanakkale.

Participation in the conference is free and the presentations will be carried out in Turkish and English, and immediate (simultaneous) translation will be provided.
